I was a Professor of French and Portuguese Language and Literature both in Portugal and in France, and very early in my professional life I took over leading positions in the area of cultural and linguistic policy and practice on an international level. At the age of thirty-nine I was operated on the liver and gallbladder and recovered my full health thanks to Reiki. In 1999, I quit my previous occupations and devoted myself to teaching and treating people with Reiki.

I received my third Reiki Master degree from Frank Arjava Petter in 2003 and in 2004 was attuned to Jikiden Reiki, which contains the integral teachings of Chujiro Hayashi, just as they were imparted by him to Chiyoko Yamaguchi (who died in 2003). Some months later, I received the Shihankaku level in Kyoto and then started to teach Jikiden Reiki. I was the third Westerner to become a Shihan (Master), in 2006. Nowadays I teach my own Reiki method, Reikimix, a synthesis of Western Reiki, the original Japanese Reiki and the techniques and insights I have received over 12 years of practice. In 2010, I published Reiki to Reiki, a travel essay-novel-diary where several of Reiki’s semi-disclosed secrets are brought to light.

Trained in Family Constellations at the Tara School of Psychology (Spain) and in Hellinger Sciencia by Bert Hellinger, I started facilitating seminars in 2002 and have since developed an original and syncretic approach in my work as a constellator that includes energy work and Osho’s meditative quality and techniques.

I am a member of the Hellinger Sciencia Energy and Knowledge Field, a status that I can see infusing my work with more resonance and synchronicity with the Field.

After several years of Osho Meditation, like a river reaching the ocean, I committed to living in meditation and became an Osho sannyasin. Sannyas, i.e., my search for my original face, has repeatedly taken me to Osho’s budhha field – the Osho International Meditation Resort, in Pune, India – where I participate in and facilitate a variety of seminars of therapy disciplines, including Family Constellations/Hellinger Sciencia, aimed at the deepening of meditation, as well as intensive meditation processes and trainings on Osho Meditation and Osho Meditative Therapies at Osho Multiversity (the largest therapy and spiritual Centre in the world). Consequently, I have incorporated Osho’s vision and meditative therapies into my work in the fields of Reiki, Family Constellations/ Hellinger Sciencia, Inner Child, etc..

Under licence of the Osho International Foundation, I founded the Osho® Meditation Centre Darshan Zen, in Lisbon, where an international team, specialised in Osho Meditation and several Osho Healing and Living Arts, invites for a journey of awakening a growing number of beings who, in Osho’s words, are so beautiful that Existence could not resist creating them.

Over the years, my work, comprising both seminars and individual sessions, has expanded in many countries throughout the world. At the same time, as a therapist and constellator at the Osho Multiversity in India, I have long been working with people from all continents. My international background, enhanced by the fact that I have lived in Portugal, Angola, Brazil and France, enables me to bridge different cultures and nationalities and to dive with deepness and strength of the soul into all sorts of life issues – namely multidimensional issues like ethnic conflicts, wars, colonialism, and migrations – that are rarely approached by constellators.
